Bulwagan Foundation Trust

Bulwagan is a not-for-profit organisation. Everything we do is for the benefit of the community.

The Trust organises two major festival annually - The Philippine Festival and Pasko - A Filipino Christmas Festival. These are both to showcase the culture of the Philippines to the wider community; its music, dance, arts & food.

Essentially the funds we raise goes to the running of the Filipino Community Centre at 92-94 Cuba Street, Petone, and other activities for the community that the Trust is involved in. We have little or no expense for administration as much of this is personally funded by the generosity of the trustees. Volunteers have grown as well over the years, and they have been a tremendous support to the Trust.

Bulwagan through its network is in touch with what is available through various community funding but it is not enough; and/or we do not qualify to funds that are available. We are grateful to our donors and sponsors, who supports Bulwagan to enable us to do the work for the community.
