Pakistan Association of Canterbury New Zealand

Canterbury region and its main city, Christchurch, are home to a small but vibrant community of people with Pakistani origins. Members of this community come from diverse backgrounds. Some of our members have been living in the region for decades and have brought up their next generations here. An increasing number are recent immigrants and students.

As a representative body of local Pakistani community, PACNZ provides a forum to discuss issues of mutual importance. PACNZ regularly organises recreational activities and social gatherings to promote interaction and understanding among our community members. A dominant theme in our events is to help preserve and promote the culture, values and heritage of Pakistani community.
